GUILD RULES

The following rules are in conjunction with the Guild Charter Rules (which govern every person within the guild, including Socialites). Please read these rules and ask an officer for clarification on any rule if you are unsure of its meaning.

FORUMS
- Stay as up to date as possible on the guild forums. We are not asking you to read every AFK post but if a change is announced for a boss fight and you come unprepared, you may be sat out.

- AFK posts need to be written in your absence for any raid. This helps the role leads keep a head count of who is available of that night. Instructions on AFK posts can be found HERE.

- Voting is required by all members on applicant votes. These people will be joining our team, and your voice is needed in the decision. Voting guidelines are available HERE.

GUILD CHAT
- Do not discus politics or religion within guild chat. They have a tendency to get out of hand.

- Keep all guild chat out of the "X" rated.

- If you are uncomfortable with what is being talked about in guild chat, ask those in the current discussion to discontinue or take it to tells. If you are ignored please notify an officer of the issue.

- Respect your guild mates. Use common sense to know when a joke is going too far. Be aware not everyone shares your sense of humor nor has a reason to have to put up with your jokes.

- Guild bank is not your personal storage room nor your free AH. Don't abuse the priviledges you will be granted to it.

Raid Rules

- Signing up for raids is mandatory. If you do not sign up for a raid but raid anyway, you will earn zero DKP for the night. Instructions on how to sign up are available HERE.

- Using consumables is mandatory. Please check HERE pertaining to the enforcement of this rule. The guild will not supply consumables to members or applicants. Raiders are provided limited access to consumables.

- If you disconnect mid-raid you will be replaced after 5 minutes of not coming back in. If you come back and have been replaced, you need to message the sitout manager.

- Skipping raids because you don’t like the instance or have all the loot is not an option. If you are online and it’s a raid night and you get called into the raid, you go to the raid.

- You must notify your Role Lead or Raid leader if you will be leaving the raid early.

- Keep vent clear when instructions are being given, or during a boss fight.

- Keep Vent clear when loot is being distributed.

- Invites will go out from 9:45PM to 9:55PM. If you are AFK during this period and can't take the invite, you will lose your raid spot.

- It is your duty to be able to get to the instance on your own without expecting a summon. A summon is only guaranteed if you are asked by an officer to go back to a city for any reason.

- Posting of meters is prohibited. Keep them to dedicated role channels if they are asked for by your fellow members.

- Basic knowledge of the fights for the night are required. Read the boss strategies on the forums. Showing up without the rudimentary understanding of a fight will result in grounds for removal from the raid.

- If you have a suggestion for a boss fight please send your suggestion in a /whisper to an officer. An idea isn't automatically a bad idea, but shouting it out in vent or in raid chat will confuse other members.

- Only calls with the intent of directing, moving, warning, or assisting other raid members should be made during boss fights, and only by officers or those asked to announce certain mechanics.

- If you announce via vent that you died, please say something along the lines of "Menas down". Spending 30secs with an explanation clutters up vent, don't do it.
