well it makes sense for Blizz to do that. When someone cancels they're subscription, they're like, "oh shit, we gotta get this guy playing again. Here's a beta key!" So I can see how quitting could legitimately get you a beta key.

Well, they didn't send me a key per se, just an email saying I've been selected for the beta. I logged into my battle.net account and downloaded the client. Didn't need to input any kind of key.
